The Siberian: Backpack
THE FELT STORY
The mountain people of Serbia used the wool from their sheep and would compress them into a thin sheet of fabric which was soft, would keep them warm, wouldn’t burn easily in their bonfires and was somewhat waterproof. This made Felt an ideal multi-purpose fabric wherever tough weather demanded durability.
Inspired from this environmentally clean and sustainable way of making the fabric, we designed The Siberian Collection of backpacks, messenger bags, laptop sleeves and wallets. Check ’em out!
FEATURES WALKTHROUGH
THE BUILD
The Siberian collection uses Felt as the base fabric which provides a lightweight and soft structure with faux leather highlights to provide the strength and durability. The zippers and fittings are made from brass metal.
STORAGE
Compact yet functional – that’s the idea behind this backpack. The front pocket is handy for books, iPad, documents or similar flat items. The main compartment is 10 litres allowing for bigger items like chargers, headphones, bottles and maybe a lunchbox. Also sports a secure zipper-pocket inside for top-secret stuff.
LAPTOP ACCESS
Do you ever go to a meeting, open your bag to take out the laptop and your unmentionables fell out leading to a very embarrassing start to your meeting? No? Anyway, we decided to keep the padded laptop compartment to have a quick-access from the top without opening the bag for similar reasons. Plus it makes airport security checks a breeze.
TROLLEY SLEEVE
Slide your Siberian Backpack on to your main luggage and swiftly you’re ready to zip past the queue and carpe that diem. Fits snugly on all suitcases while securing your laptop with soft padding.
MAX COMFORT; MAX STYLE
The backpack is balanced firmly on the padded shoulder straps that not only provides the comfort needed for prolonged wear but also features slick highlights that go with your outfit, be it a formal shirt, jacket or a plain collar-neck T-shirt.
EXPERT CRAFTSMANSHIP
The Siberian Collection is meticulously crafted in Bombay at our facility where passionate workers come together to build products that deliver the Bombay Trooper promise of quality, durability, design & sustainability.
WARRANTY: One year warranty on stitching, buttons and zippers. Free repair or replacement will be provided, depending on the type of defect.
